Betty Ross

Betty Ross, Vice President for Campaign Development at the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, is responsible for the Society’s special events which raised $163 million nationwide in 2012. Betty works closely with chapters across the country to identify, test, evaluate and communicate best practices in order to help drive the success of key fundraising campaigns including Bike MS and Walk MS. Betty is also responsible for emerging campaigns and most recently helped launch Do It Yourself Fundraising and MuckRuckus MS, an obstacle-based 5K run.

Betty’s fund raising career with the Society spans more than 35 years and includes 17 years of chapter-based event management. Before joining the home office staff in 1994, Betty was the Director of Special Events for the Southern California Chapter where she was responsible for launching their first bike ride.

Betty has a B.A. in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations and lives in Denver with her husband, Richard.
