Major Market Associate for The ALS AssociationNatalia McNeil, Major Market Associate for The ALS Association, is an advisor for The Association’s signature fundraising program, the Walk to Defeat ALS®. Natalia works directly with chapters participating in The Association’s Acceleration Program to create and implement key fundraising and relationship building activities that not only accelerate revenue growth, but also strengthen donor recruitment and donor relations. Natalia’s leadership and strategic direction has resulted in more than 19% revenue growth for the Walk to Defeat ALS® program in targeted major markets, such as Los Angeles and San Francisco. Natalia also is responsible for launching several programs and campaigns, including the Walk Acceleration Program and Operation: Defeat.
Prior to joining The ALS Association, Natalia spent six years in the restaurant marketing field, working for Del Taco and Il Fornaio restaurants. While at Del Taco, she managed Field Marketing for franchise restaurants in 17 Designated Market Areas integrating local store marketing with system-wide marketing and media to drive sales and increase customer loyalty. While at Il Fornaio, she increased the brand’s sales of both gifts cards and private label products via an e-commerce website and in-store promotional strategies. She revamped the company’s email marketing plan and content to increase customer loyalty for Il Fornaio’s Festa Regionale program. As Marketing Manager, Natalia also created and executed the marketing plans and sales training of Event Sales staff for Il Fornaio’s 22 restaurants (representing two restaurant concepts) in five states.
Natalia’s career began at the Alzheimer’s Association, Northern California and Northern Nevada Chapter where she developed the team stewardship program and created marketing plans that were the catalyst for 300% growth in online revenue for the Alzheimer’s Association’s largest grossing Walk to End Alzheimer’s event in San Francisco.
Natalia has a B.A. History and lives in the San Francisco, Bay Area with her husband and two children.
