Managing Director Corporate Marketing Alliances, American Cancer Society

As Managing Director of Corporate Marketing Alliances for the American Cancer Society, Flo is responsible for providing strategic direction on corporate and consumer engagement for revenue, relevance and mission delivery achievements. This strategy is built upon the American Cancer Society’s mission of helping people stay well, get well, find cures and fight back.

Prior to joining the Society, Flo was recruited from the Walt Disney Company to PSINet Inc. in 2000 to lead their Sports and Entertainment Marketing/Business Development department. In this position she was responsible for creating revenue and brand awareness through; service fees, media, advertising, hospitality and marketing rights. Properties included the $105 Million sponsorship of the Baltimore Ravens and PSINet Stadium, EURO 2000, and British Open.

Previously, Flo spent five years at the Walt Disney Company responsible for developing and managing corporate alliances for the Walt Disney World Resort. Disney Cruise Lines, Disney’s Wide World of Sports Complex and special projects, i.e., ATP Tennis, Major League Baseball, and Millennium Celebration events.

Flo’s career also includes ten years of sports marketing. Sports properties and corporate accounts included, Bud Light Triathlon Series (ESPN), Danskin Women’s Triathlon Series, NFL Quarterback Challenge (NBC), AVP Pro Beach Volleyball (NBC).
