Under Richard's direction, NYRR’s charity program for the ING New York City Marathon has grown from 3,400 runners raising $11.5 Million in 2006 to 8,200 runners raising $30.8 Million in 2010, and continues to grow. Hulnick continues to leverage NYRR’s assets to create Cause Marketing opportunities at other NYRR events including the NYC Half-Marathon, More / Fitness Half Marathon, Brooklyn Half Marathon, and other NYRR events. Hulnick has also developed a partnership with Crowdrise as the preferred fundraising platform for NYRR and the ING New York City Marathon.
